At Docuboxer, we have built our platform on one fundamental principle: mathematical privacy. We cannot lose, get hacked out of, or sell data we never possess in the first place.

1. Local File Processing (Zero-Server)

When you use tools from our standard suite (such as PDF compression, image conversion, developer tools or data processing), your files and data never leave your device.

Execution happens 100% in your web browser thanks to WebAssembly technology. This means Docuboxer has no visibility into, no access to, and stores no copies of the documents you process. Your usage history is stored locally in IndexedDB and is deleted if you clear your browser's cache.

2. Premium Artificial Intelligence Features

Our specific Artificial Intelligence tools (clearly marked with the "Pro" or "AI" label, such as Whisper audio transcription or document summarization) do require sending data to a server.

For these features, we use third-party APIs (such as OpenAI). We transmit the data encrypted (HTTPS) and do not store a persistent copy of the original file or the result on our servers once the request is complete. Our AI providers operate under "Zero Data Retention" agreements, which means they do not use your information to train their public models.

3. Analytics Data Collection

To keep the service free, we collect anonymous usage and performance analytics (for example, load times and most-visited tools). We do not track at the user level, nor do we use intrusive persistent identifiers. Cookies are used strictly for session maintenance (for registered users) and UI preferences (such as dark mode).
